In 1989 as a school leaver Mr. Piramanage Gnanawardhana Rajapaksa (P.G.Rajapaksha) started a distribution of consumer products with the help of his parents. After few years Mr.Rajapaksha identified that it will be more profitable if he could produce his own products in snacks and confectionery. Therefore, he started to follow up his dream by opening his biscuit, Toffee, Extruded snacks, Ice corn, jelly, Bite as a industry and became a success. But he could not be satisfied, he wanted more as he was a very creative person in this industry and manage to open new channels in hospitality Grand Crown Hotel, Cristal V Resort in Anuradhapura and Mabima Hotel in Biyagama.

In Fast food, Bigmama Restaurant chain, Hot Wok restaurants, Street Food outlets. In FMCG, Crown Super super market chain. In bakery Crown Barkers and Bigmama bakery outlets.

At present PG Global General Trading (Pvt)ltd is limited liability companies which runs the Operation by a Group Operations Manager, Production Managers, Maintenance Manager, Finance Manager, Procurement Manager, Production Supervisors. The sales and marketing is operated by a Group Marketing Manager, Business development manager Area Sales Managers, Area Sales Supervisors, Sales Representatives. Branch Managers, Outlet Managers and Outlet Supervisors
